Windows 10: Windows 10 Pro N upgrade to WIndows Pro "non N" - app compatibily issue

Hello all


I am using Windows 10 Professional "N " With the "Media pack" installed through the Control Panel/applications....


My video editing sofwtare Magix Video shows up an error while generating a Blu ray "select AC3 Stereo" - but it is already selected !


Magix Tech support think it is because it's a Windows "N" version , fairly uncommon for them. They suggest I try to install regular Windows "non N"


Question :


How do I swicth from WIndows 10 Pro "N" to WIndows 10 Pro ? installating media pack is not sufficient, I need a "real Windows 10 version "Thanks

Windows 10 Pro N to Windows 10 Pro

I have an activation key for windows 10 Pro but I accidentally installed Windows 10 Pro N, I know it is probably simple and I am just dumb but can someone walk me through the steps of going from Pro N to Pro.

Unfortunately, no, a Windows 10 Pro N key cannot install and activate a non-N Windows 10 Pro license.

You would have to acquire a non-N Windows 10 Pro license, then perform a clean install.
