Windows 10 Pro not displaying full screen

    Windows 10 Pro Version 1909 (OS Build 18363.476) - Scaling 100%

Nvidia 441.14 WHQL display adapter (RTX 2080 Ti) - (Windows generic display adapter same issue)

Asus PG348Q WHQL Display - (Windows generic display same issue)

No matter what I try Windows desktop and applications all have ~0.5" border top, left, and right (no border at bottom).

    - uninstalled and reinstalled display adapter and display drivers

    - tried Windows generic versions of display adapter and display drivers

    - multiple resolutions

    - multiple scaling options

    - Clean Windows 10 Pro installation

All the above produce the same result/border issue discussed above.

I've found old threads discussing same/similar issues, but nothing I've tried resolves the issue. Anyone else observing this issue? Found a resolution?

    :)

Windows 10 Pro not displaying full screen

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
