Windows 10: Windows 10 Pro OEM - Upgrade

Hi


I bought a new PC with Windows 10 Pro OEM on DVD. With this PC I d like to use my old SSD drive. So I insert an old SSD drive in my new computer but I can not install Windows 10 Pro OEM on it. SSD drive was installed with Windows 10 Home OEM before. I boot my new Win 10 Pro OEM from the DVD, install it but still have Win 10 Home on it. Is there any solution for this. I already looked for solutions and I figure it that I need to upgrade Win 10 Home OEM with a working key of Win 10 Pro (not OEM version).

but the key not working for me.


Is there any more solutions for this. I tried to delete, format and wipe partition on my SSD drive with Easeus but no luck. I need Win pro version but retail version of it is very expensive for me.

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:

• Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
• Try different keyboard or mouse.
• Restart computer, repeatedly.
• Google for related issues.
• Update Bios, because why not.
• Create boot media and revert to windows 7.

The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.

This error may be due to an invalid product key. However, you can try the steps provided in these articles:

• How to Verify If You Downloaded or Installed the Latest Version Windows 10.
• Upgrade Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro.

If you still get the error message after following the steps in the articles, we suggest that you contact the product key distributor to request for a new one.

Windows 10 Home Upgrade to Pro using OEM Disc and key

I have the same problem. I have a Windows 10 Pro OEM key and can't enter it directly to force the upgrade.

I read that even if I follow your suggestion, I won't be able to activate the Win 10 Pro (obtained via your easy upgrade method) with my OEM key.

Can you confirm that the OEM key will work to activate the Windows 10 Pro obtained via easy upgrade?
