    Windows 10 Pro OS Build 19042.1237 hangs after resuming from sleep


    Dear All,I had recently upgraded by Windows 10 Pro to build 1904.1237. However, now the Windows hangs a lot. After putting the system to sleep & then resuming it, the system freezes and any application takes a lot of time to run. I have googled some solutions, incl. turning off hybrid sleep, disabling fast startup options and resetting the video drivers through the laptop manufacturer's website.However, despite all these steps, the performance is still very bad & the system is still very very slow. Please let me know what can be the solution to this problem?

    desktop hangs when resuming from sleep

    Since upgrading to Win 10 from 8.1, Dell Inspiron 530 Desktop "hangs" when resuming from sleep.

    Doesn't matter if I manually initiate sleep mode or if the power plan initiates sleep mode.

    When in process of resuming from sleep the Computer Fan comes on and does not go off, monitors continue to appear sleeping.

    Nothing else happens, the computer continues in this state until manually powered down.

    I can't find anything in event viewer that indicates the cause.

    Please advise.

    Win7 Pro Laptop crashes when resumes from sleep

    Ok almost positive it related to the wifi card/driver. If I disable it in the device manager my laptop sleeps and resumes just fine.

    So I guess first step would to be try to find a different driver and if that doesnt work I guess I can replace it. Used mini pci-e wifi cards are pretty cheap.

    Win7 Pro Laptop crashes when resumes from sleep

    Need some help here guys. I bought a new (refurb) laptop a few weeks ago from lenovo outlet. Just a basic n585 to replace my netbook. It came with Windows 8 but I pulled the HDD and installed a OCZ vertex 2 80gb SSD in there for a windows 7 install. The laptop works great but 9/10 when it resumes from sleep it crashes and reboots. I have re-installed windows 3-4 times now with no fix. What do you think? Maybe a driver issue?

    Model # - Lenovo n585
    CPU/Chipset: AMD E1-1200
    Ram: 3GB (1x2gb & 1x1GB ddr3)
    SSD: OCZ Vertex II - 80gb
    OS: Windows 7 Pro 32bit
