Windows 10: windows 10 pro product key not working

hello friends,


I currently have a hp laptop running the latest version of windows from the dev channel and it came with windows 10 home, I really want to upgrade to windows 10 pro and I have 2 windows 10 pro product key. they both don't work, one comes with error code: 0xc80041023 and the other one with error code: 0xc004f050. I have already installed lots of stuff on it and I don't want to lose it. please help because it has lots of vital features that I need for everyday life like BitLocker and remote desktop.

Thanks but I don't want to do any decrypting. I want to download a Win 10 ISO from Microsoft and install it using my Win 8 key. No other steps required. Is that possible?

Upgrade using a Windows 10 Pro product key To upgrade from Windows 10 Home if you have a Windows 10 product key:

• Select the Start button, then select Settings > Update & security > Activation.
• Select Change product key, and then enter the 25-character Windows 10 Pro product key.
• Select Next to start the upgrade to Windows 10 Pro.

I just did a deployment last night with a fresh 10 install using the newest ISO and a 7 Pro key, worked like a charm. Glad yours worked for you as well. *Toast :toast:
