    Hi all am trying to help a friend he has an old HP Compaq laptop with windows 10 pro installed every time i turn it on windows restarts its self does not stay on long enough to do anything please help

    Applying Software Distribution to Windows 10 Pro using Group Policy

    I have setup a software distribution for Adobe DC using Group Policy. It gets assigned, but never installs on Windows 10 Pro. It tells me I need to reboot. Even after reboot never installs. Works great on Windows 7 Pro. Need help.

    No it does not just says windows will restart hangs for a few minutes then restarts

    Could be a bios issue, but more than likely a corrupt startup file.

    The history often helps. For example
    - it was working yesterday but then I dropped it..
    - it was getting more and more unreliable..
    - I xyz then...

    I suggest, starting from basics:
    1. Check the disk.
    Download Kyhi's boot DVD/flash drive from the top of the software and apps section.
    This will boot your PC from the DVD/flash drive into a version of Win 10.

    Download Crystal Diskinfo (free, portable) and run that. It will give a Good/Caution/Bad indication.

    If it does not report Good, you most likely need a new disk.

    2. Download Macrium Reflect's boot disk (free). (Should be easy to find).
    Attempt the repair sequence as here:
