Windows 10: Windows 10 Pro Recovery

Quick question for Reddit. I bought a dell laptop that had Windows 10 Home defaulted on it. I later upgraded to Windows 10 Pro, but my computer had complications and I had to get it replaced. When they initially tried to fix it, they uninstalled the OS and installed Windows 10 Home. I now have the replacement laptop and am trying to get Windows 10 Pro again without having to pay 99$ for a second time. I cannot find any type of product key. Please help!

Sidenote: If it helps I bought windows 10 Pro from the microsoft store. I already checked my emails and all I have is a purchase verification.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows 10 pro edition

Windows 10 Recovery

When I used the W10 Pro recovery disk from other CPU, it went through the first steps and left me at the screen listing the various partitions on the drive. I choose what was the C drive and it returned the following:

'Windows cannot be installed on this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks.'

I will try what you suggested and get back.
