Windows 10: Windows 10 Pro, SQL Express 2019 and Creating Images

Anyone know why after installing SQL Express 2019, I can't create system images using the older Windows 7 feature anymore? It's giving me an error that I don't have enough disk space which I do and it only does that after installing SQL. Also is there a newer way to create an entire system image? I like reimaging my system every month or so as a security measure but I'm still using the "Backup and Restore Windows 7" because I can't figure out another way to do that.

SQL Server express 2016 not installing on windows 10 pro

I downloaded SQL Server express 2016 which seems to be supported on windows 10 pro. The install claims my OS isn't supported.

What is the latest version of sql server I can install? Is there something I need to do to trick 2016 into installing on windows 10 pro?

 

upgrade feasibility from SQL Server 2008 to 2019

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement to upgrade legacy applications from SQL Server 2008 / Windows 2008R2 to SQL Server 2019 / Windows 2019

SQL Server 2008 Enterprise -> SQL Server 2019 Enterprise

SQL Server 2008 Standard -> SQL Server 2019 Standard

SQL Server 2008 Express -> SQL Server 2019 Standard

We will also be deploying .NET 2.0 code of 4.7.2 framework (Windows 2019) .

Please advise if there will be any feasibility / compatibility issues for the same.

Only supported on Win10. Sorry, 8.1 users, only 4 years old, gotta go.

• Office 2019 apps will be supported on:
  • Any supported Windows 10 SAC release
  • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018
  • The next LTSC release of Windows Server
• The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.
