Windows 10: Windows 10 Pro Tech Preview on VAIO SR290 notebook

Just a quick post to say that I've successfully run the Win 8.1 to Win 10 Windows Update process on my old Sony VAIO SR290 notebook. It probably took 30-45 minutes and so far everything seems to be working. WiFi, Fn keys, fingerprint reader, Bluetooth mouse, etc., are working It found and joined the local Homegroup as well.

My Office 2013 suite appears to be working too.

Printer setup for my Canon MX920 multi-function was a bit hit and miss, but seems to be working now.

All in all, it "feels" as snappy as Win 8.1. Now to see if I can make it crash...

Is it possbile to use my Windows insider product key to get the pro version of windows?

I've SONY VAIO running windows 8.1 single language + windows 10 pro insider preview dual booted.

i'm planning to upgrade my 8.1 to 10, then use the product key of 10 insider to get 10 pro.

is that possible?

 

Windows 10 clean install...

Where can I find the Windows 10 key and a full 64bit version of Windows 10 Pro. I don't mean a preview version or an insiders preview.

I've updated my Vaio and now it's stuck in a loop. So I'll need a full clean install as fast as possible.
