  1. Windows 10 Pro Upgrade from Microsoft Store Installed Deactivated Enterprise

Hello,I bought Windows 10 Pro on November 19, 2020 Order number 4007776415 from the Microsoft Store. It instead installed a deactivated Enterprise edition. At the time there was a support phone line where I was able to reach a human. They instructed me to enter a new product key that was only delivered verbally as I was typing it into the activation box. It worked, but I never got an opportunity to write down my key or ever sent one. Even the order on my Microsoft account doesn't have a key.Recently, I upgraded my PC and my license was deactivated due to the hardware change. I'm stuck yet ag

  2. Purchased Windows 10 Pro Upgrade from Microsoft Store, but Windows Installed Deactivated Enterprise

I originally ran on Windows 10 Home, 1903, under digital license (The OS came with the PC). The license is, in turn, linked to my Microsoft account.

I then purchased an upgrade to Pro version from the Microsoft store app (I used the link provided in Settings>Update & Security>Activation). I installed what I purchased from the store, the PC restarted.

After the restart, I discovered that the Windows edition installed was not Pro, but Enterprise albeit deactivated. Worse, Windows says it cannot "activate Windows on this device because dont have a valid digital license or product key..." It also shows
    error code 0x803F7001.

Clicking "Troubleshoot" does not work as it only says that I'm not connected to the Internet. But I am connected to the Internet.

I referred to my Microsoft account and was able to confirm that what I purchased was indeed Pro and not Enterprise.

I just want an upgrade to Pro like I'm supposed and entitled to. Is there a way to fix this? Or have I been screwed by Microsoft?

  3. Downgrade from Windows 10 Enterprise to Pro

    Hello,

I need to downgrade from Windows 10 Enterprise to Windows 10 Pro.

    1. I had windows 8.1 home and upgraded to windows 10 home, using the media creation tool 1809.
    2. After windows 10 home installation , I went to Settings > Updates and Security > Activation > Go to Microsoft Store. Bought Windows 10 Pro, but instead of Install I did upgrade to workstation.
So now I have Windows 10 Enterprise and I can't activate it, which is normal, cause I bought windows 10 Pro and not Enterprise.

How can I downgrade it to Windows 10 Pro?

    Thank you in advance.

  4. Windows 10 Pro Upgrade from Microsoft Store Installed Deactivated Enterprise

Windows 10 Home to Pro upgrade problem

I bought a new PC with Windows 10 Home and after making sure it was up to date I went to Settings/Update/Activation/Microsoft Store and purchased the Windows 10 Pro upgrade. I clicked Install on the Microsoft Store window and when done I got the following error. "We can't activate Windows on this device because you don't have a valid digital license or product key. If you think you do have a valid license or key, select Troubleshoot below. Error code: 0xC004C003"

I clicked on Troubleshoot and it couldn't solve the problem and said to contact support for help which was no help as it just referenced a bunch of articles.

One thing I noticed is it shows Windows 10 Enterprise as the version. I purchased the Windows 10 Pro upgrade. I didn't know there was an Enterprise version and it wasn't listed on the upgrade page.

    Any suggestions?
