Windows 10: Windows 10 Pro upgrade problem, error code 0xc004f050

I am upgrading from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro. I receive error code 0xc004f050 when entering the code.


Please help.


Note: I could not get the laptop to boot from the USB, so I installed directly from the USB; then entered the new key and received the error code 0xc004f050

You can try and skipping entering the code on install and then do it after the install.

You might have to do a clean install or if this was a Home upgrade from 7 or 8 to 10, then roll back to 7 or 8 and keep your files and settings, then do the Pro upgrade.

 

Error code 0x8009000f on upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 7 Pro.

In trying to upgrade my Windows 7 Pro to 10, when it started the upgrade if halted with the error code 0x8009000f. I cann ot find this error code in any of the online listings. Any Suggestions? RES

 

Windows 10 activation problem error code 0xc004f050

I upgraded to Win 10 by downloading a iso. This is on a Laptop HP Pavilion g7 with activated Win 7. Win 10 works fine but won't activate with the code on the bottom of the machine. I get error code 0xc004f050. Any idea what I should do next?
