Windows 10: Windows 10 Pro upgraded to Windows 11 pro but now wont activate

    Windows 10 Pro upgraded to Windows 11 pro but now wont activate


    I tried to get in touch with phone service rectify this issue. Was in the middle of quick assist and the tech got disconnected on the phone. jfc.Here is the issue....I built a new computer, using intel i-914900KS.I know that there wasnt a windows 11 availability on this CPU for a while but i was fine using windows 10 pro. Just this very week there was a release for windows 11 pro in the update so i shot for it.The build updated to Windows Enterprise 22H2However the OS is recognized from the windows store as Windows 11 At this point i couldnt activate the windows 11 pro.     Windows 11 Pro Upgrade from Windows 10 Pro Edition

    No but after it installed the malfunctioning Windows 11 upgrade it was listed as Windows 11 Pro. Microsoft Windows support advised I reinstall Windows 10 Pro and said that Windows 11 is really only meant for new PC's that come with it preinstalled. MSI website doesn't list my 2020 GT76 Titan dt-039 notebook on their Windows 11 upgrade eligibility list so I guess that's why the Windows 11 Pro upgrade failed. I suggest being careful with trying the Windows 11 upgrade despite it stating my notebook was capable of running Windows 11 it was wrong. Luckily I have the original Windows 10 Pro USB Flash drive because the Windows 11 Pro upgrade was so incomplete I had no way of reverting notebook back to Windows 10 without reinstalling from a USB Flash.

    Windows 10 Activation (Insider)

    I bought Windows 7 Pro OEM key from G2Play.net for 12€ to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro - worked like a charm but be advised if you buy a OEM key you can not download the Win 7 iso from microsoft and have to get it elsewhere.

    I need to change my motherboard, have windows 10 pro. When i google how to it says go to activation then add an account, my issue is there is no add an account option under activation? Or am I in the wrong window?
