  1. Windows 10 Pro v2004 - Chrome and Github get signed out between boots

    Hello Folks,

I updated my Windows 10 Pro system to version 2004 on 7/13. Ever since then, whenever I restart my machine, or boot it from being turned off, I have to manually sign into Chrome (Google Account) and Github (command line). I've looked at the Credentials Manager, and I don't see them persisting between boots. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

At first, I thought it was Chrome acting up, but then I downloaded the canary build of Chrome and I've still got the same problems. Another datapoint is that my git commands when using Intellij require me to enter in my credentials too which is not something that's happened before.

Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated. And of course, I deleted the old version because I was running out of space.

Get rid of Feedback Hub in favor of Github

Microsoft recently purchased Github. Feedback Hub is kind of, well, bad in terms of features. I suggest the Feedback Hub be dissolved and the important features added to Github. Feedback should be Github Issues which are far superior for comments, editability,
archiving, etc. Make the Feedback Hub in windows a hyperlink to Github.

I made this an issue in the Feedback Hub, but who knows who's actually going to see it there. And that's the real issue with Feedback Hub, duplicate issues, comments are rarely left, and it's hard to get an idea of how many people are really agreeing with
    an issue or suggestion.

    Microsoft Acquires GitHub?

Okaaaayyyy.... Maybe we should start making a list of alternatives to GitHub?

Also, GitHub is a private company, but who owns it? Who gets money from this move?

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:
    • Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
    • Try different keyboard or mouse.
    • Restart computer, repeatedly.
    • Google for related issues.
    • Update Bios, because why not.
    • Create boot media and revert to windows 7.
The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.
