Windows 10: Windows 10 Pro & Windows Administration Tools,Disk cleanup

Running on windows 10 Pro. & two 222 GB Western Digital SSD

Drive (C saw full and giving me problems with my Punch! ViaCAD 2D/3D version 10 software. so

I right clicked on Startup & clicked on Windows Administration Tools > disk cleanup & Selected the drive I want to clean up. I clicked on drive (C and checked: System created Windows Error reporti (was unable to see rest of word on this item) but it is Files used for error reporting & solution checking. Delivery Optimization Files which are files that were previously downloaded to my computer & can be deleted if currently unused by the Delivery Optimization service., Recycle Bin, Temporary files, User file history.

I then clicked OK and it ran. And it ran. too long it run so I shut it down to check what was happening to my ViaCAD data. I ran 'File Explorer' and it listed all my files on drive (c. I checked drive (F &

the files were listed. All good I thought but I checked further I ran the software & although the Data was picked up by ViaCAD it only ran the Thumbnail version of the file for a slit second & then shut down any visual pictures although the program was still running. I went to my other drive (F to check the Data I had there, it was listed but I found the same thing was happening.


My question is why would 'Windows 10 Professional', 'Disk Cleanup' software erase data from a CAD program. & if it would why would it also defeat Data on the other SSD?

It is a great lose to me & any incite as to what happened would be appreciated.

No its built into Windows, just open disk cleanup and select 'Clean up system Files' button on the bottom left- now you'll see previous installs of Windows listed under list of cleanable items. My old install is a whopping 25GB of my 256GB SSD.

Windows 10 Snipping Tool on Windows 7

All it is is one extra step beyond what is native to windows 10. Yes, technically it would be easier to have the functionality of print built in to the Windows 7 version, but you just have to save it ,and right click on it ,and print.

As far as getting the windows 10 version into windows7. I know there was a way to get the old winpaint, so maybe there's a way to get the snipping tool into 10, I don't know.
