Windows 10: Windows 10 Pro - Windows Update Error: 0x80073712

Windows 10 Pro (version 1607, Build 14393.51) won't update. I think it may be affecting other hardware because I can't get my wireless display dongle to work - which did work before a previous windows 10 update.

I don't know if this is relevant but the wireless display dongle stats are:

• Company: Diamond
• P/N: WUSB Dongle
• M/N: WPCTVTX
• Driver: DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Windows 8.0 M2.exe (Won't work correctly.)

The main goal is fixing Windows Update. Maybe if we can fix that, the dongle might work.

Anyways, sfc /scannow gives me

both after a regular boot and while run in safe mode.

Windows 10 won't update!

I've tried many different ways to fix my update problems and it hasn't helped. At this point, I'm thinking it will result in a clean wipe of the computer (which I have no idea how to really do). Anyways, my computer hasn't updated since before September.
The list of errors is so damn long and my troubleshooting skills aren't good to be begin with. Any help to a lost Windows 10 user would be great.

Here are the errors that pop up when I try to update:

Update done when update for Windows 10 received, all updates did initially work

Using settings/updates following messages received..

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3105213) - Error 0x80073712

Definition Update for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB3101540) 64-Bit Edition - Error 0x80070643

Total of 21 updates not updating, all giving above error messages

Any help appreciated
