Windows 10: Windows 10 Pro Workstation to 11 Pro Workstation

Hi, my current laptop has windows 10 HomeI was about to buy windows 10 pro workstation for itbut then came the question, will I be able to upgrade to windows 11 pro workstation in future if i buy it, I mean for free, or will it cost me extra? at the same time, will the key get bonded to my Microsoft account?Cause my current laptop isn't supported for windows 11.Thank you in advance for your reply.

Upgrade Windows 10 Pro for Workstation to Windows 11 Pro for Workstation

I am currently using Windows 10 Pro for Workstations on my personal laptop. I have options to upgrade to Windows 11 for free, but I don't know if Windows 11 will be Windows 11 Pro for Workstations. How to confirm this? I only want to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro for Workstations. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Please correct me if I misunderstood you, but Windows 10 Pro for Workstation may be upgraded to Windows 11 Pro for Workstation for free. When you'll upgrade your system to Windows 11, you'll get not Pro but Pro for Workstation

My workstation is as follows:

Processor: Intel Xeon(R) W-10855M

RAM: 64 GB ECC

OS: Windows 10 Pro for Workstation

I want to upgrade to Windows 11 pro for workstation but I'm unsure if I attempt to do so if it would provide me with Windows 11 pro or pro for workstation. I have a digital license and I'm unsure if I go through with an upgrade if the system installer would give me the option for it or if id have to make an additional payment for the upgrade even though i have the license for the upgrade.

Is anyone able to provide me with some clarity?
