  1. Windows 10 Pro x64 v20h2 build 19042.746 low sound

    Hardware:
MSI MAG B460 Tomahawk Main Board

    I5 10600K CPU

    32GB RAM
    MSI RTX 3070

    OS:

    Windows 10 Pro x64 v20h2 build 19042.746
    NOTE: Updated from V2004

Sound Driver: according to Device Manager
    Realtek V6.0.8924.1

    SOUND MANAGER:
Realtek Sound Manager thus NOT the Windows Sound Controller!!!
Oddly Sound Manager tells me the driver version is 6.0.8924.2?

    ISSUE:

I had this installed on my last installation and before of Windows.
I choose to install Windows 10 x64 V2004 as I had a severe dislike of my USER FOLDER been renamed into this silly 5-digit short of my e-mail address.
When I installed this OS, I had my modem off, so connection was just not possible.
Made my new profile, had all set up, then I turned my modem on, and signed in into Live/Microsoft.
Did my device setup, all worked marvellous.
Then the expected 20h2 came knocking on my monitor, I accepted, and we went live with this new version.
All seemed fine, until I opened up Youtube and play a song.
My volume has dropped by about 30% and YES: Volume is maxed in Sound Mixer as well as in Realtek Sound Manager, in case someone thinks I was not clever enough to think of this.
Looking for driver updates through Device Manager turned up nothing, IOBit Driver Booster also turned up blank for sound update.

"Enable Audio Enhancements" is turned off.

I have been searching Google's many similar sound issues and solutions, still to no avail.
I have bought FXSound Premium https://www.fxsound.com/ while back and while no longer sold, as I have the Premium bought I can use said Premium still.
But this is not a solution, seeing the BASE volume still is -30%.

When I use the Microsoft Troubleshooter for Sound it comes up with:
"Play sound using generic microsoft hd audio driver problem"
When it is tone it says done, rerunning the Troubleshooter that SAME issue though "fixed" pops up again.
Seems and this seems an issue that happens more with Microsoft Windows that the fix applied did nothing, if it uberhaupt WAS applied.

To be sure, I went into Safe Mode and tried there.
Troubleshooter refused to work in Safe Mode.

    So, enable Windows Admin Mode.
Try there, well: the fix didn't fix anything remained there as well.
If at all a fix was applied, this is.

So: how come Device Manager gives me a previous version 6.0.8924.1 compared to Realtek Sound Manager 6.0.8924.2?
Logic here eludes me, as only ONE driver is installed?

I cannot uninstall the Realtek Driver, as that would delete my precious Realtek Sound Manager Microsoft's Sound Controller's quality is poor: compared to the "realtek" stuff it gives a flat, "empty" sound, whereas the "Realtek" stuff gives a full, warm experience I have Aspergers ****, so I REALLY notice it, and it drives me up the wall.
Now, even though I have this 30% volume loss, music SOUNDS really DARN awesome.
    But that 30% volume...
How do I fix this issue?

    Thank you very much:
    Ben

    :)

I can't install this, or the previous CU?
    I'm on 19042.685.
I tried to grab the servicing stack for the updates but says it's already installed?
