Windows 10: Windows 10: Problem selecting apps from my Taskbar & Start Menu

When there are multiple apps/windows open and visible on my taskbar, I'm having a problem selecting them. I can't switch between apps/windows. If I click on some app/window from the taskbar it appear on the screen, but I can't grab or click into it, because it disappears when I move my cursor towards the screen. The same thing happens when search from the start menu/Cortana. I can't figure how to fix this problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?

We appreciate your response. For us not to miss out on anything, we would like to know what troubleshooting steps have you performed. For built-in applications like Mail, Calendar, Calculator, you can try reinstalling them so that they can properly register
with the Start Menu. Here are the steps:

• Open Start.
• Search for PowerShell, right-click the result, and select Run as administrator.
• Type the following command to reinstall all the built-in Windows 10 apps and press Enter:
  
  Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

If you are dealing with apps that you installed using the Windows Store, you can reinstall them by following the steps below:

• Open Settings.
• Click on Apps.
• Click on Apps & features.
• Select the app in question, and click the Uninstall button.
• Click the Uninstall button again to confirm.
• Once you've completed the steps, open the Store, search for the app, and click the Install button, and now the app should appear in the Start menu.

For third party applications, you may need to reinstall them manually as well.

Feature suggestion: Add right-click menu

Suggestion: Please add a Windows 7 Jump-List and/or right-click menu to the GPU-Z icon in the Windows taskbar. Possible menus in it would be "Exit" and "About GPU-Z...".
Maybe also "Switch to tab 1/Switch to tab 2/Switch to videocard 1/Switch to videocard 2" too.
Examples of programs that have such menus are ICQ, Skype, AIM.

NOTE: It seems for a right-click menu, Windows 7 is not needed - it works on WinXP and Vista too.
But even a Windows 7 Jump-list may be good enough.
