Windows 10: Windows 10 product key upgrade eligibility CHECK online

We have a lot of laptops that we purchased in 2016 and then downgraded to Windows 7 Pro. We do know the product keys. However, BEFORE we install Windows 10 on each of these 9 identical laptops we must know if these product keys will also activate Windows 10. I have so far, been unable to find anywhere online, especially on Microsoft's various Windows and activation websites, where to just do a simple CHECK to see if these are also valid Window 10 product keys.


Does ANYONE know how I can check these product keys that we used to downgrade to Windows 7, even though we should have been entitled to the upgrade to Windows 10 at the time with these same keys ??? I believe we used our MS Volume Licenses we had available for distribution at the time.

Missing Windows 10 upgrade eligible product key

I had an upgrade eligible Windows 7 Pro OS on my machine and upgraded to Windows 10. This worked for about a week and then suddenly it would not boot up anymore. After trying multiple times to repair and "reset" the software I was forced to do a clean
reinstall using a install/reset flash drive downloaded from the Microsoft web site. Now that Windows 10 is up and running again it wants me to “Activate Windows” manually because it cannot find the original Windows 7 Pro software that made it eligible for
free upgrade. Can anyone point me in the right direction to resolve this? I have no record of the original Windows 7 Pro product key.

If you upgraded to Windows 10 for free and ended up in a non-activated state, try following these steps:

or you could hack it with a crack but please note this is always risky and you don't know what's in the hack

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
