Windows 10: Windows 10 Professional - Can't Window Update to Version-1903 And 22H2 Error Code: 0xc1900101

Hello, I couldn’t install ESET antivirus due to update failures, as my Windows version is outdated. I tried updating multiple times, but the system often failed to boot normally, forcing me into repair mode. Only after completing repairs could I start Windows properly. Additionally, I saw an error message 0xc1900101 on the Windows Update screen. Are there any solutions to fix this? Thank you.

Hi

I'm trying to update Windows 10 from 1809 to 1903 but after one of the reboots, it gets stuck. I need to turn off and on the computer twice for it to undo changes and go back to the previous version where it works ok.

When going to the version history in the settings, I see the error 0xc1900101. On the net I saw this error accompanied with more codes but I only see 0xc1900101.

I didn't try to use media creation tool - is there a reason for me to expect it to work differently than than the auto update of windows itself?

I updated my drivers, disconnected my external hard drive, there is enough space in the hard drive.... but still it fails. I have Avast antivirus, I didn't uninstall it. Also, in the past I never had problems upgrading to major versions of Windows 10.

Is there a way for me to know what exactly is causing this error?
Is there a way to check the compatibility of my computer without to actually upgrade? It takes time until it stuck.
