Windows 10: Windows 10 Professional for Workstations - NIC Bonding Question?

Hi

Does anyone know if Windows 10 Professional for Workstations supports NIC Bonding?

I can do it with my Windows Server 2016 system, but want to update a cousin/other box to W 10 Pro for Workstation if that feature is available.

Anyone know?

Services corruption ported over with an upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10.

What changed? (rhetorical question) When our company had a Microsoft Vista Ultimate workstation, the printer spooler service became corrupt. This was fixed with an upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate so no data loss occurred and worked great and was in use until
we had to replace the workstation because of it becoming a legacy workstation. Today, one of our Windows 7 Professional workstations exhibited the same printer spooler service corruption and I upgraded to Windows 10 Professional with the theory that the upgrade
would fix this as before. The printer spooler corruption was actually ported over with the Windows 10 Professional Upgrade.

Did something change in the upgrade process/procedure to disable this fixable solution?

I have a windows 7 ultimate license (Technet Professional) Retail to use for 10 workstations. When I get to download windows 10, can I burn an ISO file to install windows 10 also on 10 workstations? If not what can I do so I can install windows on multiple
workstation for testing purposes.

All Operating Systems allow for network adapters to be bridged. You just have to tell the OS what two adapters you want bridged to share a connection.

It was in, then out in some 2015-2016 shenanigans ...

If Windows 10 Professional for Workstations brings this back, then I'd be interested in purchasing, otherwise it
forces me to have to look at Windows Server 2016 again ...

... So the question really is, does Windows 10 Professional for Workstations support NIC teaming or not...?

 

Again it is called bridging. If you would look down, it tells you that workstation Operating Systems cannot be used as a server OS, because not everything is there. Teaming is if you want to Load Balance or for fallover and can only be done with a Server or Router based OS.
