  1. Windows 10...program wont launch, process keeps getting killed

The program won't launch. It briefly shows up in services tab in task manager before killing off a second later. I've tried several things and managed to pull up event viewer to see the issue. This is apparently the repeated error that has been causing the process to close before the app can fully open. I'm unsure what it means or how to fix this issue. + System - Provider [ Name] .NET Runtime - EventID 1026 [ Qualifiers] 0 Version 0 Level 2 Task 0 Opcode 0 Keywords 0x80000000000000 - TimeCreated [ SystemTime] 2022-06-21T01:20:57.38

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

Windows 10...program wont launch, process keeps getting killed

    automatic shutdown program

    Thank you for your reply.

    ForTaskkill the example is
    Taskkill /IM slack.exe /F

Notice it does NOT use the full disk path name which you seem to have appended. Only the process name.

Check you have working command by trying this from a command prompt manually.

Step by step, and always check the syntax carefully.

Doing things like this for the first time my take a number of attempts.

Now, did you notice I did not suggest you use this in a scheduled task? I suggested:
