    Windows 10 Prompts Password When There is No Password


    Hello, About a month ago, two of my coworkers got new computers. Both of them are logged in with their Office 365 accounts, but neither of them have specific passwords set to log into their computers. Recently, both coworkers have turned their computers on and have been prompted to enter a password. Both of them can bypass this by clicking through a couple screens, but I'm wondering: Why would my coworkers be prompted to enter a password to log into their computers when neither of them have set computer passwords, and why would they be able to bypass the screen without entering or setting a pa

    Windows Startup password

    Is it possible to remove a startup password without being able to log into the system? A friend's laptop just prompt her today for a password that she never enabled. Now, she does have a standard user account password, but that doesn't work for the startup password. She had the computer for about a year now and it has never asked for a startup password until today.

    I tried to use Hiren Boot CD to run a diagnostic on the laptop, but it has a bsod. Windows 10 normal boot crashes as well

    Forgot Windows 10 password...

    For future reference, there have been reports that this was patched out several weeks back. I found an alternative method doing some registry diving.
