    Windows 10 random freeze/hangs. BSOD 0x00000124

    Hello!

My computer randomly hangs/freezes so I have to do a hard reset to start it up again. This happens under various circumstances. It can happen when I am gaming or when I am just browsing the internet.
I also got a few BSOD's with the Whea uncorrectable error (0x124).
Hope you can give me some tips on where to start looking.

    With regards,

    :)

  2. Windows 7 to 10 upgrade on a Dell Precision 390?

    Hi Prahalad,

the graphics drivers install without any problems. The random freeze/hang issue is while running Windows 10 with the NVIDIA graphics driver.

Uninstalling the NVIDIA driver and installing the Microsoft Basic Display driver fixes the freeze/hang issue.

    Thanks.

  3. Windows 7 to 10 upgrade on a Dell Precision 390?

    Hi Yashwanth,

I have tried the following versions of the NVIDIA Windows 10 driver for the Quadro K600 from NVIDIA:

    361.91

    362.13

    362.77

All have the same random freeze/hang issue.

    Thanks.

Provide as much info as you can. Need to know the complete model number of the computer and/or motherboard so I can check specs against what I see in the dump.

Right now the latest dump indicates a fatal hardware machine check. A Internal timer (Proc 0 Bank 3) error.
