Windows 10: windows 10 re activation

So I recently replaced all the hardware in my PC. I did a fresh install of windows 10 Home and tried to activate it. But when I selected the "Hardware recently changed" option, my old PC doesn't show up. I looked under my devices and found that my old PC had a windows 10 Pro version installed. So I think I need to somehow upgrade my current windows 10 home to widows 10 pro, then I can use the "Hardware recently changed" option. Does this sound accurate? If so, how would I go about doing that?

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
