  1. Windows 10 reactivation after new hardware

Recently spoke to a microsoft employee on the phone who says i can't have a new digital license as mine has been used in the past to reactivate my copy of windows. Today i changed my motherboard/cpu and obviously want my windows to be legit, like it should be.

Why am i being hustled to spend the £120 when my windows 10 copy was pushed on me back when Microsoft wanted everyone off Windows 8.

    MY WINDOWS IS LEGIT.

    :)

  3. windows 10 reactivation after hardware change

I just changed motherboards, and When I follow the the steps listed in the "reactivate windows 10 after hardware change" support page, it gives me the message "unable to activate windows" message after I sign in and identify my device,
with no error code, just a subheader that says "can't activate windows 10 on this device, try again later."

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
