Windows 10: Windows 10 Reactivation

I recently upgraded my motherboard and other hardware and reactivation is not working. I have tried using the default code give out in other forums and it did not work. Windows 10 is linked to my Microsoft account and when i use the troubleshooter to select the pc i'm currently using all it says is "We can’t reactivate Windows on this device. Try again later." I do not have the old product key anymore as it was an only windows 7 home premium and it said that it was registered as a virtual key. Phone support was useless essentially said i needed to buy a new product key because i didn't have the product key from like 4 years ago.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
