Windows 10: windows 10 reads backup drive

Hello, when I play music on media player win 10 reads my backup drive and accesses the internet this slows the computer and media player locks up. Is win 10 storing on the cloud?

Skipped file during backup

Win 7 backup is there to read your old windows 7 backups, not to use for current backups. The backup program has changed for windows 10. You should use windows 10 backup for current backup. You need an external hard drive to save the backups. Use System
Image every few months to keep a complete image of the whole hard drive on the external drive to restore everything in case of disaster. That is not for everyday backups. Those are automatic. See--

Paragon Driver for Windows

I have a Seagate external "for Mac" drives that uses the Paragon HFS+ Driver for Windows in Windows 8.1 to read the drive and was wondering if it will work in Windows 10 because I read an Amazon review where someone said it doesn't.

Can someone confirm if they upgraded to Win 10 and can see and read their Mac formatted external Seagate drive.

I get no warning from compatibility report about this either.

its more than likely trying to get the album info for all the tracks.

In both cases, use your task manager to identify what's responsible for the activity.

 

Media player is not downloading, still could be doing a search for info like you said. Regards Herman

 

yeah it doesnt download, just the track listings and album covers if it can but does take a while if your music collection is large
