iPad no longer asks to "Trust this computer" nor does it appear in iTunes anymore

Thank you for your prompt response. I have:

• restarted both pc and ipad
• installed all required updates to pc and ipad
• ensured I have the latest version of itunes
• checked the USB cable (it connects my ipad to another win10 pc, launches itunes etc)
• verified that Apple Mobile Device is installed and restarted it
• tried to update the ipad driver software (right click on apple ipad in "devices and printers", then properties.....)

These had no effect. HOWEVER, I then followed "Verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed" on

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204095 and then "If the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is not listed" on

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204095#listed and, hey presto, the ipad now shows the "trust/don't trust" warning and has successfully synced again with my pc.

So, it would appear there is more than one way to update this driver.

Connecting iTunes on Windows 10 PC with iPad

Thanks for the quick answer. I deleted iTunes and reinstalled the latest iTunes version from the Microsoft App side.

I am not sure but I feel it happens since last Windows 10 update.

I did not delete the Apple drivers yet, as I could not find from where to download them. I was reading through community pages, and I could find files, services and folders mentioned there like

../Apple/Mobile Devices Support/Drivers

Usbaapl64.inf

also Apple Mobile Device Service is missing

... and I reinstalled icloud on the PC.

The following happens:

1) When I connect the iPad I can find the iPad and the USB info in the device manager.

2) Asked to trust the iPad I confirm it on the iPad

3) after this I get 0xE error

please let me know what other info you need
