Windows 10: Windows 10 recovery to factory reset error

So the issue here is that I have an Acer Predator 17 with a default win10 installation. This was a recent acquisition through a friend of mine, and while trying to help him and remove his data and clear it for myself, the set up failed with the error loop of "Install Windows""The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered and unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click 'OK' to restart the computer. and then restart the installation"Now here is the frustrating part. The only functioning key to interrupt the boot process is the F2, booting into Safe mode

Factory Reset Win 7 (without disc)

Download an ISO of the Avira AV boot CD, burn it on your own computer, and then boot from that CD on your mom's computer and run a cleanup.

Seriously, you should just download a Windows disc and format the laptop. Best and easiest course of action.

If you are incapable, or uncomfortable with following any of the recommendations on how to restore the laptop, then I recommend you take it to your local IT guy and ask him to do it for you. Sometimes the best of us have to visit a ripoff merchant to get something fixed, or even just tested...
