OK. You've done a really nice job with this. I find it is ALWAYS better to repair Windows with Windows. And it's a portable mini Windows OS that fits in a wallet*Biggrin(for Office stuff people can use Outlook on line in Opera).

It is ISO, but ISO's are nothing more than mountable and bootable compressed images.

IE11 does not work under Win10 PE (does on Win8.1PE) but not sure included..
Win10 relies more on Edge - and modern apps not supported in winpe (so IE files are not written into win10pe)

Mike, do you have UEFI ??
    If so disable SecureBoot

I usually mount ISO then copy and paste file from ISO to USB formatted Fat32

Ok I give up!!! I can't get it to boot from my usb drive, no idea why, I've tried fat32, NTFS, rufus, nothing works!!! soon as it loads, it displays a error screen then shuts down my computer.

The issue was reported on my thread and the cause was addressed
It is an acronis driver and the use of secureboot

  10. OldMike65 Win User
Ok but I don't have acronis on this computer. And why does my Macrium Reflect rescue usb stick work which uses PE without having to disable my secureboot??? Also that Gandalf PE usb disk gave me no problems....both boot up just fine with secureboot on. ???

because Acronis is included in my winpe and not included in Gandalf's or marcium's

PS - WinPE has nothing to do with Host OS system (common mistake of thinking)
WinPE does not depend on any installed OS - thus giving you the ability to access the Host OS for repair

Ok....thanks for the info.....I will try that later then. and let you know what happens. Is their a special way it wants the format set on the USB, fat32, NTFS.......right now its NTFS style....

Fat32 for UEFI support, but the current version of my PE requires SecureBoot disabled, because of the included Acronis Driver..

Jimmy just for your information, from your Win10RT File Explore(I am a curious person) I tried running some of my installed programs(on C*Smile from your Recovery environment, and a few worked-Ccleaner, Tweaking(dot)com's Windows Repair, 7Zip, UltraSearch, Macrium from my C: drive too, another words installable programs that also have the option of using a desktop.ini(install/portable hybrid's) file instead of the registry.
Also all my saved(in C:\ Documents CMD scripts run too.
I tried MBAM but it gave me the error that sfc.dll is missing, but of course SFC & DISM run in CMD.

For testing copy the HOST C;\windows\system32\sfc.dll
    to X:\windows\system32\sfc.dll

and do the same if dll in syswow64 folder

sfc.dll may not be included in PE and the program you are trying to run is dependent on that dll..

Remember we develop PE around the Programs we run within PE
So the program you are running may have dependancies not included.. thus the Joy Of development..

Edit: you could also test by running the Programs installer within PE, although may still find missing dependencies

Also remember that you are running the PE OS from system memory..
Nothing is saved anywhere within the PE OS once PE is shut down...
Any changes made to the HOST system are saved....
