    Windows 10 red cross next to audio icon error


    Everytime i go onto my pc the audio has a red cross icon next to it and there is no audio playingThings I have tried:Reinstalling nvidia driversRolling back my graphics cardTroubleshootingConnecting my headset over and over againRolling back to previous windows updatesMy digital audio went missing the moment i booted up my pc yesterday and i have non-stop been working to find a solution since then but nothing has workedPC Specs:Nvidia GTX 1650Intel core i7 260016 GB RAM1 TB Storage

    Windows 10. Red cross on tray audio icon, but sound IS working.

    Every time i'm restarting/turning on my PC, i see a red cross on speaker tray icon (but sound IS working). When hovering - it's says "Windows Audio Service not running", but if you check services, Windows Audio Service IS running. Then - if you left click
    on icon windows audio troubleshooter is starting, says "all good" and red cross is gone for next reboot. What i already did trying to fix this: completely reinstall audio drivers, 1 time using widows automatic driver install, second - using latest RealTek
    drivers, third using MSI site (Z97A Gaming 7 motherboard). Double checked Windows Audio Service and all dependencies is set to "Automatic". No result. I got 2 audio setup: over 3,5 jack and SPDIF cable (wireless headphones station).

    Audio not working. It show red cross sign

    *O.T.> audio

    I update Window 10 but audio not working. It show red cross sign on window ribbon on left. I tried to do trouble shooting but it could not gets fixed.

    2. Which version of Internet Explorer or other browser?

    3. Does "sound icon" refer to the sound icon on the Windows Taskbar?
