    Quite a while ago (a few years) I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Recently (a few weeks ago) I tried to upgrade my CPU with a better processor that was faulty. I removed that processor and have been running fine with the original processor. A few days ago I got a message to Register Windows 10 (already registered to this Hardware Config.). I assume that the registry was reset by my swapping the processor out and back in, but I can no longer connect to the internet, either. How can I reregister the original hardware? I can't find a registration email (it was all done online as an upgrade from Win 7 to 10), and online is not an option because something has locked my network out of the internet. Ideas??? This was my only reliable PC.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
