Windows 10: Windows 10 registry corruption

Hi, as of the October 2018 Windows 10 update, I haven't been able to use my newly bought laptop. I went to boot it up one day after normal usage, and since I've been trying to fix it, I've had a host of errors that I've come across. I've come to the conclusion that my registry somehow became corrupted, and no matter what steps I take to fix the issue, I can't resolve it by any way other than fully wiping my hard drive and clean installing Windows. Even then, after re-installing Windows TWICE, and downloading driver updates and Windows updates, I will shut down my computer after trying to make sure the issue doesn't re-occur, but it always does. The BSoD Stop error I just started receiving is "Bad_System_Config_Info". I've scanned my hard drive and memory and the tests always pass, so I know I'm not having a hardware issue. I would really like to resolve this issue. I'll try whatever is recommended, at this point, however, I'm losing faith that I'll be able to fix my computer.

Corrupted registry

Your concern occurs due to some corruption on your system files. We suggest that you try the methods below and check if it helps.

Method 1: Perform System File Checker (sfc) scan.

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files. To perform this, follow the steps on this link.
Steps mentioned on the link for Windows 8 and 8.1, will work fine with Windows 10.

Method 2: Run DISM commands.

Follow the steps below on how to run the DISM commands:

  Press Windows + X on your keyboard.
  
• 
  Select Command prompt (Admin) to open Administrator Command Prompt .
  
• 
  In the Command Prompt, type the following commands. Press the Enter key after each command.
  
  dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
  
  dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
