    Windows 10 registry update test


    I'm attempting to change the size/height of my title bars on a recently purchased refurbished machine without it effecting the font.On my old win10 machine recently deceased I accomplished this easily through the registry, but it takes a lot of trial and error.Is there a way to update the registry without having to constantly reboot the machine?

    Windows 10 fails to update


    When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

    Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

    I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

    Hmm .. need better steps to reproduce.

    The installer adds a key with the install path to the registry, which is checked against and then that "Update GPU-Z" box is displayed.
