    Windows 10 regular blue screens

    Hello,

I am working on this for almost a week now but haven't had success in resolving my issue.

I am getting blue screens on a regular basis and cannot find the source of it. The crashes don't seem to happen on a specific action. Sometimes the PC works for hours and other times I can get 3 blue screens in a manner of 20 minutes.

Most of the times I am getting a BAD_POOL_CALLER stop code but other codes like IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL or SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED have happened as well.

I have already tried multiple things to resolve the issue:

    • updating drivers the ones I updated were wild guesses at best
    • using system restore points to a date where the system was working fine
    • getting the latest windows updates
    • reinstalling windows with keeping personal files
    • using memtest86 to check my 2 8GB RAM sticks tested both at the same time and then each one individually but every time in the same DIMM slot => no errors at all were found
    • using sfc /scannow to find and repair corrupted windows files
    • completely wiping the drive with the windows installation and personal files I have backups for a clean reinstall

However none of these brought the desired effect.

On a separate drive I installed a Linux system and it is running fine so I assume faulty hardware would not be the cause.

My latest minidumps can be downloaded here: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AqEhZMAaI1KqjVNv5FC9IlYQ2eDN?e=JWK7qJ

NOTE: I was using the driver verifier when the SPECIAL_POOL_DETECTED_MEMORY_CORRUPTION happened.

Please help me to get my system stable again. Slowly but surely I am running out of options on what to do.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jhin1234

    :)

Windows 10 - Blue Screen / WatchDog Violation

    Hi,

Incompatible drivers can cause the Watchdog Violation blue screen error. We'd like to learn more about your concern so that we can provide the proper resolution. We just have a few questions for you:

    • Which build version of Windows 10 is on your computer? To check, click
      Start

    • Are you using a third-party antivirus program?
    • Did you make any changes to your computer before this started happening?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

As an initial recommendation, we suggest carefully following the steps suggested
