Windows 10: Windows 10 reinstallation. Will all of my personal files be saved to windows.old

I want to reinstall windows 10 because of an interrupted update broke my entire system. I'm stuck on a startup repair that doesn't do ****, including all of the other options that windows offers in case of those issues. Pretty much nothing works. But that's not why I'm here. My question is simple. If I do a clean install of windows 10. Will literally all of my files on previous windows be saved to windows.old. And by all of my files I mean games that i have on my PC including their save files, python and all the programs I've written, applications that I previously downloaded trough browser like Fraps, RealTempGT, Uplay, Google Chrome maybe everything of that sort. All of my shortcuts on desktop too. I need somebody to tell me more about this because I didn't really find any forums or whatsoever on the World Wide Web about this. The point here is that I have some very important data on my PC that I simply cannot afford to loose. I just need to know if this option will or will not work.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Reinstalling Windows 10 to sell a PC - is the 'Remove everything' option enough?

Restore factory settings do list Removes your personal files, apps and settings, and reinstalls the version of Windows that came on this PC.

So if this isn't true well than just erase the drive and install a clean Windows 10 with all the drivers u need but why should it be true
