Discus and support Windows 10 remembers & does not remember the last folder I saved to...? in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; At work, Windows 10 remembers the last folder I saved to, but at home it does not.     Windows 10 remembers & does not remember the last folder I saved to...?


    At work, Windows 10 remembers the last folder I saved to, but at home it does not. This is very frustrating. Why is this? thanks,PS Quick Access does not suffice, I have significantly more that a dozen regular folders.

    Where is Windows 10 "Remember each folder's view settings"?

    Win 10:

    I don't have any problems with the folder views being saved (icon sizes, list etc), but I don't have a "Remember Folder Views" box to check. This seems to mean that the folders always open up to display the same size on the screen as the last folder I resized.
    It also means that all folders open up on that monitor (I run two).

    I'm also finding that my two Firefox windows keep jumping around at the whim of Win 10.

    Is it true that Microsoft have deleted this particular function (the folder remembers what shape it was and where it was on the screen)? I can't believe that such a useful feature would be deleted in an advancing world.

    Remembering Window Position

    I have Windows 11 and cannot save window position and size after shutdown. It will remember when it's opened/closed during the day without shutdown. After re-starting it will open to a fixed prior position, but not the last one prior to shutdown.

    I have tried all recommended actions on line, tweaking the bagMRU registry setting, "restore previous folder windows at logon" from Folder Options, etc., nothing seems to work.

    Anyone have suggestions on how to do this so I don't have to adjust window position after startup? Thanks for all suggestions.

    Windows 10 Won't Remember Wi-Fi

    windows 10 pro ver. 1511 clean install

    after update windows refuses to save wifi password

    no option available to remember password

    reinstalled wireless adapter drivers

    gone through command prompt suggested fixes

    turned off power management options

    any suggestions?
