Windows 10: Windows 10 Reminder Before Shutdown

I have a pretty awesome sound system that I use with my computer. However, it goes via mains and is turned on manually when one needs to use it. The manufacturer recommends turning it off when not in use and I often forget about it, and leave it on for a whole day or more.

I just want a reminder to pop up when I attempt to shut down my computer that says:

"Have you turned off your speaker yet?" and I can select yes if I did, and it should proceed with the shutdown, and no if I did not which will cancel the shutdown.

I have tried a VBS script that I have seen online, but it just causes my system to get stuck at the "Shutting down" screen with no reminder in sight. Maybe because it was made for Windows 7. And I have seen none for Windows 10. Any help would be amazing.

Windows 10 Pro and Ergnomic Break Reminder

Apologies for the late reply.



Do you remember installing any break reminder software?



It looks like it is a pop up from a break reminder software.



I suggest you to look for this in Programs in features and uninstall it if do not use it.



Try the following steps:

• 
  Press Windows + R keys to open Run Command
  
• 
  Type Appwiz.cpl and hit enter
  
• 
  Search for the programs and un-install it.
