Windows 10: Windows 10, Remote Control: Failed to initialise the socket system

Hi Microsoft Support Team,Device: Acer Predator PH315-53Windows 10 HomeGood day! I am writing this to ask for your help. I was forced to update Windows after rebooting my laptop today, and in the middle of the Windows update, I got stuck in the "Windows getting ready Don't turn off your computer" loop for ages, I had to turn off my computer. Now the problem occurs, I got stucked again in the Windows Automatic Repair loop, and now I was forced to System Restore to fix the problem. After restoring, some error popped up "Failed to initialise the socket system".I tried these commands in CMD and no

- Were you able to upgrade to Windows 10 successfully?

I suggest you to refer the below steps and see if this helps.

• 
  Enable remote desktop in settings
  
  • Control Panel\System and Security\System, Click "Remote Settings" on the left side
• 
  Verify my port forwarding settings were properly forwarding to my computers local IP address
  
  • run "cmd.exe" and then type "ipconfig". Find your IP from that list

• Make sure your firewall settings are open
• Go to "Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Firewall\Allowed apps"

• On the left, click "Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall"
• Click "Change Settings"
• Find "Remote Desktop" in the list and make sure both "Private" and "Public" is checked.

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Error: "The remote procedure call failed" while trying to access Windows Store on Windows 10

I understand the inconvenience you are facing in accessing Windows Store apps and installing Windows Updates on your device.

We appreciate your effort and time spent in resolving the issue.

As you receive an error: The remote procedure call failed, I suggest you to check the status of Remote Procedure Call locator service.

Step 1: Make sure the Remote Procedure Call status is Started and set to Automatic. RPC Locator should be set to Manual. Follow the below steps for the same:

• Press Windows + R keys from the keyboard to open
  Run command.
• Type services.msc in the search box and press
  Enter.
• Search for the Remote Procedure Call locator service
• Make sure the Start-up type is Manual.
  

Steps to set the services to Automatic

• Right click on the service
• If the service is stopped then Start the service
• Select Properties
• And in the Start-up type, select Manual.

Step 2: I suggest you to run Windows Update troubleshooter as it resolves
problems that prevents you from updating windows.

Steps:

• 
  Press Windows + X, click on
  Control Panel, select Category and then select
  Large or Small icons.
  
• Click on Troubleshooting and click on View all
  in the left pane.
• Select Windows Update
• Click on Advanced, check mark
  Apply repairs automatically, and then click on Run as Administrator.
• Follow the onscreen instructions
