Windows 10: Windows 10 Remote User iOS setup screen?

The first iOS screen asked for the IP address. Attached is result of 'ipconfig'. I inserted the address I thought correct and it displays in the upper left of the iOS screen shot.

Settings/Remote Desktop says to use the machine name (MarkP50) as the PC name to connect the device--I did.

I used the password for the computer.

When I hit Done, I get the vague error that the session has expired, or... ask your administrator.

In the iOS Settings, MarkP50 is stored. There is nothing in Gateway. Does that need to be filled in?

Am I picking up the wrong IP address?






The remote switch is On in Win Settings.

Remote Desktop

Okay guys need some help here before going crazy...
I am trying to setup a remote desktop connection and see exactly what the logged on user is looking at with out going through Windows Remote Desktop.

Since its local network I don't have any password or want to setup a password.

Any suggestions are appreciated

 

Remote Desktop limit to 2 screens?

Is it possible to limit Remote Desktop in Windows 10 to only use 2 out of 3 screens connected to a pc?

Remote Desktop is to a Windows 2012 Server.

HP Connected Remote is an app that comes preinstalled on select Windows HP computers. I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it resolves this issue.

• On the Windows 10 Start screen, type hp connected remote.
• Click HP Connected Remote from the Apps search results.
• Click Settings, and make sure Enable HP Connected Remote is turned On.
