Windows 10: Windows 10 removal of watermark trick through Taskkill /F /IM explorer.exe method safe or not?

Hi guys, so I have an inactive windows 10 pro in my pc and i wanted to remove the watermark by the corner. So i tried this method in the internet which is creating a batchfile and running this command: @Echo off taskkill /F /IM explorer.exe explorer.exe exit

Then later i found out that the method wasn't legit and that it would only temporarily remove the watermark and that it would cause the explorer to crash, so i just wanted to ask if this will cause any harm or virus on my pc?

How to remove the activation watermark in the desktop?

  Open
  Notepad.
  
• 
  Type these following commands:
  
  • 
    @Echo off
    
  • 
    taskkill /F /IM explorer.exe

  Save as
  Activation.bat
  
• 
  Locate the it in your file manager.
  
• 
  Right-clickand

The following are used in a .bat file on Windows 10 Home Edition 64-bit.

It can kill notepad.exe

It cannot kill speedfan.exe

C:\Program Files (x86)\SpeedFan\speedfan.exe

How can I kill speedfan.exe?
