  1. Windows 10 Removed its OS

This morning, I woke up and booted up my PC, but on the sign in screen, it took a little longer than I was expecting so I mashed enter (rookie mistake, I know) to try and get it onto the password screen. Nothing happened, so I left the room for a few minutes. When I came back, I only saw the black and white screen of the BIOS stating: "Reboot and select proper Boot device or insert Boot Media in selected Boot device or press a key." Does anyone know anything about how this might have happened and the steps I can take to hopefully recover at least my files? I am going off of some shaky info here, but the RGB setting on my GPU is still running, which requires a driver that is not present upon install, so I think the files are still there, but the storage is not booting up correctly. PLEASE HELP if you know anything!

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
