Windows 10: Windows 10 repeatedly updates to 22H2.

Windows 10 22H2 keeps trying to update to 22H2, despite already have been updated to 22H2.After using winver, I have confirmed that my windows 10 is running 22H2.Computer: HP Notebook - 15-bs058caProcessor: Intel i5 7200UGraphics: Intel HD 620

How to get the Windows 10 2022 Update version 22H2  

If you can't install it from windows update you can try to install it manually, it's the same KB5015684 obtained with windows update.

Do dism and sfc /scannow commands before and/or after installing it.

 

Windows 10 22H2 repeatedly updates despite the device already running 22H2

Windows update keeps prompting to update to Windows 10 22H2, but after using winver to see the version, Windows is already running 22H2. Checking both the update history and about computer page in settings gives the same result of the 22H2 already installed. Running troubleshooter did not resolve the issue.

This is not the only update error with the device. The Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.8 and 4.8.1 for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64 (KB5028937) also repeatedly fails to update, and cannot install. Error: 0x80073712

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:

• Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
• Try different keyboard or mouse.
• Restart computer, repeatedly.
• Google for related issues.
• Update Bios, because why not.
• Create boot media and revert to windows 7.

The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.
