Windows 10: Windows 10 replacement after crash on Mac using Parallels

After previous same version win 10 1 (updated by Microsoft weekly) it appeared to crash, kept getting disk error screen on startup. Understood that it would automatically reactivate because of previous systems win7 and 8.1 key as it did on previous installation.

But to no avail now requires a repurchase to activate Why?

Just to clarify, you receive the error message while trying to install Windows 10, is that right?
