Windows 10: Windows 10 Reserved Went Missing

I reserved my copy of Windows 10 and I had the icon in my system tray for well over a month now. As of two days ago, that icon went missing but I still had the notification about my Windows 10 reservation in my Windows Update tool. Now, there is no such notification of Windows 10 or my reservation. What do I need to do to get it back?

I am on Windows 7, fully updated.

Windows 10 Upgrade Reserved notification in Windows Update under Control Panel

My laptop came pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Basic. I didn't receive the Get Windows 10 Icon as my pc was not up to date. Yesterday I updated my PC and the icon appeared in the taskbar today. I opened the Get Windows 10 app and reserved my copy. I went
to Windows Update in control panel thinking that I will get a notification that Windows 10 Upgrade Reserved as in the case of my desktop pc. But it was missing. I tried cancelling and re-reserving but the notification in Windows Update is still missing. Will
I be able to receive Windows 10 upgrade ? Please help (I have attached a picture where it shows Windows 10 Upgrade Reserved which is missing in my laptop)

I already reserved my copy of windows 10 well before the cut off date.

I went to instal today but it is no longer available in windows update.

If my copy was not reserved why call it that!?!

Now I have missed my chance because of their missleading wording!?!

Very frustrating!

 

Microsoft said that the upgrades will take place in the course of a few days. Tech sites have guestimates of it taking a few weeks. I'm positive that when you're next in the queue to upgrade, your notification will re-appear.

 

I knew about the upgrade happening in increments but is the notification/reservation notice suppose to disappear? I cannot find any mentioning that this would happen naturally/intentional.
