Windows 10: windows 10 reset and now it will not let me log in on startup. Incorrect password.

My computer was running slow so I restarted it and it went into an update that never completed. After 2.5 hours I shut it down and restarted it. OS was so corrupted that it was not functional at all. I tried restore points, startup repair, return to previous version. All showed unspecified error.

Then I did a windows 10 reset keeping my files. Now when the start up screen comes up and ask for my password it will not accept it. Incorrect password.

And I noticed that the internet icon on the bottom right shows no connection. Im using an Ethernet cable. I have to use the password to initiate the process so I know its valid. How do I log into my account and open windows 10 without it connecting to the internet? It seems as thou I need to open the os to get it to connect to the internet yet I cannot open windows 10 without the connection. Im at a loss. And everything I need for my business is on it. Please Help!!

Windows Startup password

Is it possible to remove a startup password without being able to log into the system? A friend's laptop just prompt her today for a password that she never enabled. Now, she does have a standard user account password, but that doesn't work for the startup password. She had the computer for about a year now and it has never asked for a startup password until today.

I tried to use Hiren Boot CD to run a diagnostic on the laptop, but it has a bsod. Windows 10 normal boot crashes as well

Unable to log in windows 10 shows incorrect password even after entering correct password

I am using updated windows 10 long time and recently i am receiving (sttary64.exe-application error) error message after each start up. I searched in google and found some help and disabled all running programs by following steps.

Start - Search -system configuration-startup- open task manager - then disabled all.

it asks for restart computer

after restart log in with same password but it says incorrect password.

log in to microsoft account and reset the password.

with new password also shows same ie incorrect login password

Please help me how can i log in to windows to open it.
