    Hi there, i'm hoping someone can help. My Lenovo ideapad3 has gone to blue screen and I am unable to restart Windows. Not sure what happened but i think something to do with trying to upgrade to Windows 11. I called Lenovo support and they told me i have to reset the laptop and the support person also told me that I need to backup my personal files separately despite choosing the options to keep my files in the reset. My situation is I keep all my files in my desktop drive. The Lenovo support person told me they will get wiped even when I choose the 'Keep My Files' option. Is this correct? I

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    According to the info on the link you posted, it say's your personal files are kept but the application's you installed will be removed.

    Is there a way to refresh win 10 without losing my programs¿
