Windows 10 reset search view settings

    Hello,

Ok, so I was playing around with changing how to set up a default search view settings, looked up a tip online about editing the reg database. No I didnt backup the reg database, and I dont have system restore on.

But obviously something went wrong, and now when I search it looks as you can see on the picture, I have tried "reset folders" in the settings->view tab, but with no luck, if I try to add which columns to view, it just shows up blank, as shown in the picture as well.

If anyone knows of a way to completely reset explorer settings that would be great. excluding reinstall of windows ofc.

If anybody knows of a way to fix or reset this back to normal I would appreciate it.

    Thanks.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
