Windows 10: Windows 10 resizing and moving open windows after waking from sleep

Like many others I found this to be a giant pain. Lock your computer or just walk away with programs up and come back to find them small and in the upper left corner.Well, this post by AndrejPirman https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/solved-windows-10-resizing-open-app-windows-after/7c4ab0f1-e550-47d9-9531-649eed3d3e1e has, all the way down at the bottom in his? own last reply, the solution. EXCEPT, it's not the "full solution." While a specific Configuration file is pointed out, I tried it I had 3 but even though I went through all 3 that had the same kind of label

I have a six month of Dell Vostro which came installed with Windows 10 Pro. Every time my computer sleeps when it wakes all open windows have shifted position and/or resized.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Thank you! But I don't think I made myself very clear. I typically have five windows open at once. When my computer wakes from sleep all of the windows have resized themselves and moved around. I then have to, of course, reposition them all again until
the next time the computer sleeps when they reposition and resize once again. It's very annoying. I called support a couple of times when I first purchased the Vostro in December. They remote controlled my computer and thought they had fixed the issue but
had not. I haven't called back because, frankly, I don't have 30 to 45 minutes to sit on the phone.
